The alumni magazine
International alumni work is the focus of this issue. What does the TUD Rector think about this topic? What were the career pathways of selected alumni in the San Francisco Bay Area? How did an alumni chapter come to be founded there? And what exactly are the alumni ambassadors doing for the TUD?
TUD Rector Prof. Ursula Staudinger embraces the value of international alumni work. In an interview with "Kontakt-online", she explains why TU Dresden is proactively approaching alumni, what the university hopes to gain from its alumni network and what role this play in its overall identity.
“All alumni have shared history with their university”

Inspiring young students to choose Dresden for their studies
Julia Paternoster has been working in international student marketing at TUD for twelve years. Every year, she visits international education fairs to attract prospective students to TU Dresden. Cooperation with German schools abroad is also an important aspect of her work. International alumni are happy to help.
Kevin-Christian Garzon Galindo consistently pursued his dream of flying. He was unable to become a pilot, so he studied transportation engineering and spent a lot of time in the flight simulator. Today, he is an enthusiastic researcher and works at NASA on the future of aerospace.
